A professional dog walker can ensure that your dog gets the regular exercise she needs regardless of bad weather or or other situations that make it difficult for you to exercise her such as illness or injury, travel plans, or just super-busy schedules.

The Placid Pet offers both temporary and long-term scheduling for dog walks.

Dog walking service includes:

Leashed walk for 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes*
Walk in your neighborhood, or
Safe transport to a local park or trail
Pick-up and dispose of dog waste
Towel-dry after wet or muddy walks
Checklist and notes for your review

At The Placid Pet, we take dog walking seriously. The Placid Pet compensates staff members for their time while attending continuing education seminars, including dog walking training. In 2007, Placid Pet staff members were fortunate enough to work on two different occasions with Barb Kennedy, and what we learned we could immediately apply with our canine clients. Barb worked with us specifically on how to properly walk a dog on-leash, and how to deal with problem walkers -- especially pullers.
